Default K-Sport Coilovers????

Has anyone ever heard of or used K-Sport coilovers, they are really good for the price, ride height adjustment, 36-way adjustable dampening, pillow ball upper mounts, and camber adjustment, here are some pics

Same company that Makes the D2 coilovers... haven't really seen too much about them though... you can find them anywhere from $475 up to about $700... there are some on eBay too...

couple of the nissan guys have actually got them and loved them. i was gonna get them in a groupbuy quite a few months back. the only reason i didnt get them was that the shipment time was about 6-8 weeks. if u browse the nissan forums, u will find a little more info on them. same 36 way adj coilovers, just on nissans.

See them all the time in Taiwan for cheap. Cheap stuff but have no idea how they perform.

I swear I could put a pile of **** in a shiny metal tube, slide a spring around it, call it a coilover, and people on here would say "looks good, price is right, I'll get them!"

Come on people, it is a functional part. It doesn't matter what the hell it looks like.

And you have? Have you put them on a shock dyno? Even if you have tried them, when is the last time you got your butt dyno calibrated?

Again, why in the hell does it matter what a coilover looks like? IT IS A FUNCTIONAL PART!

...And have you seen any proof that they are ****? If they don't break and they do everything they're advertised to do I would highly doubt they suck that bad.

I'll tell you what. You talk to somebody that has had a bad experience from them and then you come back and bash all you want. Until then you're no better than the people saying "they look like they work good"

...note that this camber adjustment is for the coilover, NOT the control arms. Therefore it won't help tire wear. I've never seen this kind of camber adjustment for the coilover system, this is an intriguing design though, i like it! This could be very beneficial to track cars.

clearly some people think they are good quality coilovers and just because they are cheap to manufacture does not mean it is cheap quality, think about it

something makes me want to say that one of the Primedia magazines (Super Street or Sport Compact Car....) put a set of these on one of their project vehicles. I'm not 100% on that however.

I'm not going to knock these until someone proves they are ****. I'm also an extremely budget minded person and would like to think that there are more quality parts being offered for a decent price as they are being imported more frequently.

My main concern with buying coilovers from any of these companys (ksport, d2..blah) is lack of state side support. If you need one rebuilt or something, what are you supposed to do? I have a friend with JIC's and when something went wrong on his, he sent them in and had them repaired and back in a week and a half. It was GREAT service. I truthfully couldnt believe how well they stood behind their products.

oh and to the guy who was talking about putting them on a shock dyno. I'm sorry to say that VERY VERY few companies actually do this. It really isnt until you move into something in the catagory of Ohlins that they truely do a CRAP TON of research on a shock dyno.

lol, usually things that seem to good to be true, are. I personally wouldn't buy this, but whatever floats ur boat, i agree with mike though. They may look 'nice' and sweet, but wait till about 3-4 months when the bolts freeze up and the valves blow, lol. We'll see how much you like the money you spent on it.
