ITR Stolen
PY 2000 ITR 0968
Morrisville, PA
Woke up an hour ago to get the paper, only to find my car gone and the garage door propped open. I called the police immediatly, and within minutes the cops showed up. It became obvious to the, and I, that this was a professionally done job. Here's how it went down:
There is a window to the garage... the glass was cut and removed without breaking to unlock the window. After opening the window and entering, they pulled the emergency release on the garage door. Now this is the part that gets me... With my car alarm armed, windows up, and locked, they still mamanged to roll my car out without it going off. There was no broken glass left behind, but they somehow were able to open the car to release the e-brake and steer it out. (baffles me). They then propped open the garage door with a shovel to prevent it from making a loud crashing noise when it comes down. Lojack did not call me (Im furious), I had to call them. The police dept. is being very cooperative though. They left a fingerprint on the window, which the police lifted as evidence and will be run through the FBI database. They are currently trying to recover the car from information provided by lojack. But I fear its too late.
My R has already probably been raped. But anyone in the Philly region, please keep an eye out. Below is a link to a picture of it. If you see it, or think you may have, please let me or the Falls Township Police Dept. know. Thanks everyone.

Very sorry to hear about your situation. I am not going to say "a loss" yet b/c at least with that fingerprint there stands a chance of these bastards being bagged. We'll all hope for the best............I live in PA so i will def keep both a watch out and ears open.
sorry to hear and i know i just saw your R a couple months ago. This is really odd but your story matches my stolen R's story except my was not in my garage at the time. I had lojack, alarm and all. give me a call later, maybe the same guys took our cars.
And this one was considered to be safely locked up...
damm. whats else can be done, it sounded like all reasonable methods were taken on this and yet still stolen, maybe the boot thing inside the garage?
Oh and another post were the new guy drops in to tell us some bad news and then will disappear

House Alarm. If my alarm was on and a thief pulled up the garage door. The cops would be there in 5 - 10 minute. Maybe its just my area that everyone has a house alarm. I thought everyone had one.
