Alright fools, what's the final plan? I was planning on leaving Friday morning, like 10ish, getting up to the Beaver area like 3:00 or so. That should miss all rush-hour traffic and isn't too early or anything. Thoughts? Ideas? Meeting places? I know there was a mall in Frederick last year that was used, but don't remember which one.

 

I will be leave Reston late...like noonish.

The meet spot for last year was the mall in springfield which is right off 95north. Anytime fri morning sounds good to me. p.s bring a set of short range hand held radio's they make a big difference

this time, make sure everyone leaves a little earlier. The Philly crew waited for us a lot longer than expected. I really got that feeling even more watching the video....

I may just go straight to the meeting point on the turnpike. A friend is coming with me and he is trailering his 944 turbo, and I think trying for him to keep up in a caravan around the mall area may be a bit too much.

sorry fellas.. won't be on the MD/DC/VA caravan this year.. have fun though, it's a fun drive up!

Edit: I'm an idiot, never mind, Andrew. Since a bunch of the UMBC guys are going, we could all meet right by where 29 and 70 hook up, or maybe grab breakfast at Double T or something if you fools don't wake up early enough. I'm trying to think of somewhere convenient.

So are you meeting up at fsk mall in frederick like last year. I am about 90% sure i am going. Last year the drive up was the best part.

Alright, screw my cylinder head, worthless piece of junk that it is. Since no one has any idea what's going on, here's what I'm gonna do. All MDers and anyone else who wants to join: I'm having everyone meet on Friday morning at 9:30-10 at the bottom of Rte. 70, where the little parking lot is. If you're not sure how to get there, PM me and I'll give you directions. If there's still a plan to meet up with the VA fellas in Frederick, fantastic. Otherwise we'll just cruise up like that. Objections or thoughts?
