For those looking for a pristine 1997 ITR (< 1k miles)
What an interesting find, but the price is rediculous. I'd be kinda leary on buying an 8 year old car with that less miles anyway, it was probably sitting in a garage undriven for a few years.
damn...if that thing was priced semi reasonably i would buy it. 34k..guy must be crazy...but supply and demand..he got something that im pretty sure nobody else does....if someone one wants it they will pay for it.

He's just trying to come up, just doing it the wrong way. HA HA. I bought my USED 97 for 18.5 w/30,000 miles, and it was, and still is in perfect condition. I know its rare, but not impossible to find damn nice 97's for under 20 G's. This guy needs to do some homework before asking for that price. eesh.
one thing i don't get..
if the guy bought it to store it and possibly make money out of it later. or just to store it as a collection, then why would he change the shift ****??

Maybe a father bought it for his son in 97 and his son changed the shift **** and then his son died after only having it a few weeks. Then the father didnt have the heart to sell it since it was his sons dream car. So he stored it till he could come to grips. Then he goes online and sees some high prices and figures he would sell it high.

high 20's maybe.. 34K is a lot for something already driven for hundreds of miles, non-original interior parts and questionable maintanance... afterall, car needs exersise too.. can't just sit there for years.
