.70 a/r

66.5mm inducer

Stage 3 and Stage 5 refer to the size of the turbine wheel.

Stage 3 = 2.229" exducer with a major diameter of 2.559"
Stage 5 = 2.439" exducer with a major diameter of 2.798"

Basically, a Stage 3 turbine will spool quicker at the expense of lower power potential while a Stage 5 will be slower to spool but will offer greater power at higher rpm. For a compressor wheel that can flow 75 lb/min, a Stage 5 would likely be more appropriate.

With the stage 5 it is essentially a full-race t3/67

I can't believe that garrett is actually producing that combination. A stage 3 turbine w/ a 67 compressor wheel.

btw, the "t04R" is the HKS name for a turbo that uses that compressor wheel, it is the same wheel also known from FR67 and PT67 fame.

Right, its quite the large turbo.

If I remember you correctly your friends with 60-1's are outpowering your similarly setup sc61. I think you have a lot more room to go on the sc61 before you start upgrading turbos, but what do I know.

I just ordered the same turbo from Ken @ Cheapturbo.com. It's already on it's way! Can't wait.

I got the Stg 3 wheel, after speaking to them we decided on the 3 wheel cause of my setup. I got the .82 a/r on the exhaust side. I think this turbo will work great on my setup.

Post up more info about your setup???

see the only issue with the stage 3 wheel is, the compressor will get up to speed and keep you way left of the surge line...
so expect some surge down low... until you get into the upper rpms you will have the constant surge factor...
but hey, if the guys at cheapturbo.com say thats the best bet with the .82 then im sur you will be happy with it...
that t3t04r is a sick comb with a stage 5 .63a/r
the stage 5 turbine will bring you onto the map from about 4k to red line.
