I dont want to hear about cheap shitty headers, I cant believe I cant find anyone that makes a header for this car, A decent design would compliment a good exhaust and intake atleast 4+ whp. Or should I try to talk to someone about making me a custom one? I wish smsp made a header for our car/

The stock EX header is about as good as it gets for the Accord. Its durable and you won't see any (noticable) power gains from an aftermarket header. So if you have an EX stick with that header, if not then get the EX one.

I believe the se and ex are both 4-2-1 whereas the lx and dx were 4-1 and a little smaller piping

I was under the impression that all of the headers for 6th gen 4-cyls were the same, and that they were all 4-1 headers...

I know for sure that mine is... (99 EX)

edit: There's no difference in power between the LX, EX, and SE on 6th gens, so I would assume the the header is the same between them all.

kamikaze headers provide a lot of top end power... there was big difference in my buddy's accord after installing it. the top end power is supposed to be at the expense of a little low end power, but we didn't notice it. then again, he did floor it everywhere for a while...

You actually got noticable power from a header? I've never heard of that happening on ANY car, let alone an Accord. Do you mean the whole set-up (I/H/E) or just the header?

The car already had an intake and tanabe exhaust. Both of these mods were done at the same time, and neither of us noticed a difference. After we installed the Kamikaze header, we did feel more power on the top end. Keep in mind, I'm not talking about a drastic power change, just a difference that we could actually feel. Considering that it was an Accord, with which most bolt on mods don't do a whole lot, I feel the wording "big difference" is an appropriate comment.
