Default Hondata intake gasket worth it??

I was wondering is the hondata intake gasket worth it. I read it suppose to cool down the temp. The real question is it worth it over stock?? I do not want to shell out what 50 bucks for one if i dont have to.

Let me here your opinions...thanks

nice thing about those gaskets is that they can be re-used if you take the IM off .. unlike the oem paper ones

i havent gotten tooo much dataloggint time yet, but on the dyno on the stock one my intake temps were 146 with a fan on it. i drove it around for like an hour the other day and at standstill they were looking about 105-108, at full load was getting down to 95 degree temps. it looks like its working pretty decent for me soo far, but i havent gotten a chance to take it out on a hot day yet. maybe today it it gets hot and huimid today

You may desire to purchase longer studs when using the gasket...my friend barely caught two threads when installing his gasket.

I don't care what anyone says, on a D16Y8 I used the Hondata gasket with no washers. It always backed out on me so I got a stock one on for now (until I buy longer studs.)

That is correct. I bought mine like 3 years ago and just put it on.

You can use the washer with the long studs. You can also put on some locktite to hold them in. use the blue stuff.

$100 canadian dollars

Im thinking of gettin one but another prob is coolant runs throw the side of the port so it would prob be better if u could cut that piece of the intake manifold off and tap the head for its own fitting to alow coolant to flow for the bypass
