Good, that gives me hope.

Any clue on his set-up or the amount of power he is putting out?

It might of been that guy Brian (i think)

He posts as Oak's Racing
I believe he has a h23a turbo putting down 510whp

Awesome times, especially for that elevation

looks like he's got some sorta bottleneck in there... losing hp on the top end. That's a cool car but judging by the power curve, it would be a bitch to drive around in traffic and stuff. Look at where the turbo sees full boost (5.5k, around where the tq falls off)

yea... 250whp at 4300 seems unbearable for stop light to stop light acceleration

1. go to sea level
2. re tune for the altitude
3. TRY to do something to spin less (much easier said then done)

should be running high 10's.

my buddy's stang runs an 11.2 @ 129mph at just above sea level. he spins the tires for a good 1.5 seconds before it grips. thats on Nitto 555r's. his best friend has the EXACT same setup and ran a 10.34 on slicks.

traction issues
11.44 prelude

This is a picture of garden of the gods...2 miles from the town in which I was born and raised...I also own a prelude...coincidence? I think not. Jesus is telling me to kill this guy and take over his life and thus, his car....

Seriously, that is amazing

Very impressive. That goes to show that the Prelude is not this bloated landyacht that the Civic guys make it out to be.

OK, maybe i'm partly wrong

Sorry guys havn't had time to update the cardomain site, the car looks much better than last year - We will try to get new pics on here real soon. A few details - It is an H22 Vtec T40e TEC turbo - Dyno'd 590whp last Friday - Goal is to get the car into the 10's this year. We had a clutch issue during the 11.44 run trying to get that problem resolved and be ready to do it again in LasVegas. The car weighs 2900lbs.

Thanks for the comments - pics are coming.

He actually posted his original thread here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=894722

And I don't think he's having that many problems up top...just looks like he's out of the efficiency range of the turbo?
