Default AFR- what's the best combination.

I was at dyno my first time But it will be next topic as I get the chart scanned.

They have also measured my AFR.
It looked like this:
idle- 15.4
from 1k to VTEC crossover stable 14.6
from VTEC crossover to fuel cut-off AFR drops down terribly fast to 10.4 (in 1200-1300 rpms). Of course there is a lot of black smoke going out from exhaust because of being so rich.

So the question is: what is the best AFR in NA lude for hp and tq? I was told that being so rich hurts performance a lot.

Engine setup: basicaly stock H22 + IAB open all the time + 8lbs clutchmasters flywheel + generic short ram + hi-flo cat and fujitsubo catback.
I have alread bought fields sfc-vtec controller so I'm going to install it soon and need to know how to set up my fuel.

I found that most h22as like to sit at about 13-13.5:1 in vtec so I would shoot for somewhere in that range. but theres no magic AFR to shoot for, u gotta see what makes more power on the dyno.

thats the key right there, you just have to try and see what works for your setup. i would try and aim for 13.5-14 ..somewhere between there and you should be good

Correctomundo!

I've read for n/a cars 13-13.5 is good; since yours is a very mild setup, I'd say 13.5-14 would be fine.
