Just get a set of stock plugs if you are not modified.

No Bosch blows get NGK's their the best and they are better than oem I think. Also, they come pre gapped.

ngk=oem

get ngk since it's cheaper. stick with copper plugs best bang for $ and change them once a year since they are easy to do in a I4. if you have a V6 i would suggest iridiums since those 3 plugs in the back are something i don't want to change ever year.

For copper, NGK or Denso. I choose whichever is cheaper and availible.

there is only so much spark you can put into an engine.

all it does is ignite the gas. Look at it like this say you have a puddle of gas and you throw a match on it what happens?

now on the same puddle of gas. lets say you light it with a flame thrower... same **** happens!

on that premise why not run glowplugs then?

both puddles ignite, but which puddle completes combustion quicker and more completely?

to the guy who started this thread: stick with stock dont bother wasting time or money, btw bosch sparkplugs are utter crap

Unless you are running serious power stick with OEM, if you want you could add ignition and new plugs/wires but that would be the only way to better the system and see noticable gains. OEM is just fine for even light mods too .
