It will cost you around $1000 for a metallic. It's purposely done so you have to repaint multiple sections of your car.

Time to go into sleeper mode, obviously someone is not happy about your car.
Take your ITR badge off, you don't need those to remind you it's a ITR nor you want any more ricers/hateful domestics to further damage your car.

just key the other side and get the whole thing repainted at a reputable shop.. **** that half *** crap paint only one side.. whatever they say it will never match right.. so just key the rest and get it repainted at a local honda-body shop...

 

I swear, I would ******* cry. I just couldn't deal with that, it's so insane. Jealous jerkoffs. Like Vincent Vega said in Pulp Fiction, "it would almost be worth it just to catch them do it".

Oh man that sucks!!!!! I am sorry that happened. I know you have to be PISSED!!! I don’t understand what would posses a person to do that. I wish I could catch someone in the act of doing it and bash their face in!

 

I know exactly how you feel. Same thing happened to me last year. But mine was worst, they went all the way around the car. The next day, my friend and I cut school, and hid in his car, to wait for the ****'s to come back. But they didn't. The funny thing is, somebody elses' 2.5 RS got keyed too, and he blamed it on me, and we almost got into a fight... Long story.

 

Damn...I hate to see Type Rs keyed. DAMN HATERS!! They are just jealous. I got my car keyed on the trunk and people stuck gums on my car before. I was very pissed off and I only own a EBP Civic Si. Sad to see other people vandalising someone else's pride and joy. I hope you fix those scratches FAST!

Damn that sucks man!! I know how you feel though. Some ******* did that to my car a few years back. Luckily it was only one quarter panel they keyed, but they went all the way down to metal. I finally got it repainted a few months ago.

 

that sucks i don't understand why someone would **** up someone else's car let me catch someone try that .......

Last time someone keyed my car like that ('94 Integra RS) - it was my ex-girlfriend. Keyed every panel - including the gas cap.

I can see someone loves you just as much. That's a lot for a hater to do...

I don't know what alarm you have, but mine is sensitive enough that it would have been going off after the first scratch.

I feel your pain - it cost (my insurance company) almost $3000 to repaint the entire car - but it was a grade A+ job. I'd suggest you settle for nothing less.
