Default Mugen Intake Install

Well, I finally, decided to install the Mugen intake into the R this weekend. First off, let me thank Dave at R&D for the great service, support and price. Also, a big thanks goes out to BabyNSX masta sho kaa installa - for his perfect install. I trust no other.

I do not have pics of the install process, since someone was not around, cough, cough - EDWIN, however, I can offer the Japanese to English translation of the manual. I had this bad boy translated at work; I thought it might help some of you with installing this piece. Sorry, if the pics are not the best, PM me, and I can e-mail copies of the jpg scan's.

As for the intake itself - I think it was worth the wait and money. I feel noticeable differences in the cars response and acceleration. As well, the sound... what can I say about the sound except - "holy sheit was that a jolt of lighting?"

I hope to install the hondata s200 unit I purchased last year and tune to extract some more ponies.

Holy ***** mang! You got your intake installed this weekend? I didn't get a call? Damn! I would have loved to see that sick piece.

Would you consider selling your intake to me NOW?

Or are you still set on the idea of pouring gasoline all over it, setting it ablaze before my eyes before you would ever consider selling it to me?

So that's what the instructions look like...I think that it was easier to install the intake without the instructions, only took us an hour from start to finish.

Maybe I'll just have to get the full color Mugen sticker for mine just to be different?

I find myself quickly shifting to 3rd and 4th gear to hear and feel the additional torque I received from this intake.

With gas being a dollar a litre (94 octane) I shouldn't be doing this but I must!?!@

I went though half a tank of gas prematurely this week doing these stupid antics.

I'm going to dyno this sukka on the 29th.

There's a couple of reasons for an upgrading to the intake: it's lighter than stock and my car was running to rich.

Mugen owns you!
