Sorry for the poor quality pics. 2 grooves on the upper part, 1 on the lower.
There supposed to be 98 ITR, They sure dont look it.
They are on the exhaust side btw.

I did a search and they appear to be B17 cams.

QUOTE:

B17a 92/93 GSR cams
Intake cam has 0 engraved rings and 3 protruding rings
Exhaust cam has 1 engraved ring and 3 protruding rings

END OF QUOTE

I have also read that they could be 94-99 Gsr cams. So i dont know what to belive.

Now if these are b17 cams. Is there a possiblity that its a b17 cylinder head? I was trying to distinguish it between the 2nd gen b16 and the ITR. Does the b17 use the same casting? I dont think it is because the stamp on the front which indicates the year it was made is 98. And b17's wherent made in 98 i dont think. So they must have been added.. right??

what casting is it? pr-3 or p72. p72= gsr head. I had this exact same problem where i got a b16 head with gsr cams off ebay, and was told it was an itr head. Looks like you got ripped off like i did man (although i got $520 USD of the $850 i spent back). The cams most definitely appear to be GSR cams, but to be 100% sure, you should get the lobes measured..........

This is my CTR Intake // ITR Exhaust

notice there are no grooves on the lip, they are on the end of the stick instead.

Definately NOT ITR's. They are either B17's or GSR's. My GSR's looked like those, but I've seen some B17's look like those too.

Its a Pr3 casting. it was made in 98. Its not a b17 head or Gsr head. So the cams were added. Im just trying to find out exactly what they are. I just check intake. Its the same.

I hope there Like a newer Gsr cam. Id hate to have a cam designed for 1.7L engine in a 1.8, Just plain stupid. If there GSR then they will be good for turbo when i go NA in 2 yrs.

But i bought the car and it was supposed to have ITR cams. Im very angry.

It could very well be a b16 head and b16 cams.

1st gen b16 cams look different then gsr cams. Here is my really big pic because im lazy but these are gsr cams. i have 1st gen b16 cams and there are no grooves on any parts on the ends of them. Im pretty sure those arent b16 and they arent gsr unless they are newer then the ones i have now. these are a 94 gsr
