Default The $150 Turbo Kit...

Subject is an 89 CRX Si, with a DX motor w/si tranny converted to multiport, running obd1 P06. Running 6-7 psi.

D15b7 Motor w/Si Trans
obd1 240cc injectors
obd1 P06 Ecu w/Uberdata
T-25 Turbo w/Excessive Shaft-Play
2 1/2" Downpipe
2 1/4" Catback Exhaust
Mazda 626 Turbo Blow Off Valve
2" Charge Piping

Hella shaftplay T-25

Adapter Plate

Downpipe w/ $4 flexpipe

jbwelded oil return

Oil Tee/Suply (*Never place the Tee directly on the block.. . u are asking 4 trouble)

Custom Wrench for Clocking Turbos

Finished setup:

Boost is regulated by a carb spring at a solid 6psi (gay *** wastegate was boosting to 10psi)... Now that I think about it... the kit was closer to $150... The car is signifacantly faster than most b16 swaps... so I would say... pretty good for $150

Thanks... Be sure to check out http://www.homemadeturbo.com, http://pgmfi.org as well as the Uberdata board @ http://www.ecimulti.org/uberdata/forum/... Without these guys, the only options would be $1500+ pre-fabbed kits

I'd like to give some advice, but, I dont have room in this square box.

Cool setup! Bet it's fun. Just be careful with the boost and stock injectors

You must have fabricated alot of parts -- what did you do for your exhaust manifold?

did you make your own flanges? and did you intercool?

the most expensive parts are turbo + wastegate, manifold-- your T25 has one built in so thats good savings $$

so you modded an old OBD1 ECU to run uberdata so you didnt need to spend $$ on a vortech 12-1 FMU..nice!

btw your jbwelded oil drain plug looks cleaner that quite a few weld jobs ive seen

yeah, that JB weld will hold fine. There's the RIGHT way to do it and there's the wrong way.

If you do it correctly, most of the time it will hold. ESPECIALLY when it's not under pressure.
