Might want to look into ProClutch. There are a few members on here who can get them for super cheap and I've heard nothing but good from firsthand experience.

I can also recommend the higher end SPEC clutches. They hold very nicely, even under heavy boost, so if that's the avenue you plan on traveling down, you're going in the right direction with a good clutch.

Difference? Yeah, you'll find that you engage much quicker and can hold a lot more power (if any was previously being lost to clutch spinning). Be careful shifting gears, because the engagement is going to be hard enough to jolt your dash apart when you're dragging.

I also recommend the ACT HDSS clutch kit. I've been using one for about 13000-13500 miles with 10500 of those miles being turbocharged. The clutch is great! It's still going strong. Pedal feel is slightly firmer than stock but nothing major. Grip is excellent but it's still very streetable. It can hold 223 lb-ft of torque but won't work your left leg to death. I drove it plenty of times in horrid stop-and-go commutes without a problem. I highly recommend one.

Any suggestions on where to find this clutch you speak of?

Or anywhere to find more info on it?

I've looked on the ACT page, and they're all numbers, no HDSS..

Check out the link and let me know.

As far as the install you're looking at over 250 dollars. Pulling the tranny is quite time consuming.

Search for a thread by me about how to remove your tranny. Also BauleyCivic did a good writeup as well.

The ACT clutch gets my vote too. I have had good experience with their products in the past. I just swapped out a clutch and it took maybe 3-4 hours going at a fairly slow rate. It is pretty simple, just time consuming. Ricey, please check your email from rxse7n.

Most shops around me charge ~$300 for a clutch/flywheel install.

Stage 2? Look on the ACT webpage and figure out what you want. Then go from there. http://www.advancedclutch.com/....y=11
