its time to get some tires and the choices i have come down to are the falken azenis sports and the yokohama avs es100. now im just tryin to get some feedback from people who have had expieriences with both of these tires....and what sizes felt better on stock rims the 195/50's or the 205/50's....thanks
also if anyone has expierenced tires that they think are better but about in the same price range please let me know

the best tire for the stock wheels:

(if you can afford them...)

I just mounted these on my ITR, and it is unbelievable how much grip they have. You simply cannot reach the limits of these tires on the street. They have great feel, awesome steady-state dry grip, and feel good on the highway. There simply aren't any other tires that even come close in the stock size. I had stock tires, then 195/50 S-03's, and have gone back to the stockers - the 195/50 felt nervous and harsh IMHO - they just don't work with the suspension as well as the OEM size tires. Unfortunately the Re010's also wear very quickly and cost twice as much as similar tires - but you only get what you pay for...

Es100s .. Azenis and Re010's wear to quickly for most people's applications
AZENIS ARE INSANE (talking from expirience)
Es100s.. I've got prolly 200 miles on them.. running great.. definetely not as sticky as the Azenis but they are a more resonable choice for the money I have
As far as the REs .. they own both these tires as far as grip goes.. (rain or dry) .. but they are just soooooo much money..

...cant wait to atleast get a better tire on the R to see how the handling will change...if i cant afford the re010's i will probaly go with avs es100 because i will feel a little safer in the rain but hopefully i will be able to get the re010...now how is the handling between havin a 195 vs. 205 any diffrent?

in terms of grip i'd say
if es100's are a 5out of 10, azenis would be a 7.5
I might rock some es100's.. but mainly cuz you can get 195-50's for close to 50 bux each!
this is for eg hatch tho

The ES100 will give you the lowest cost per mile, because they last a long time (figure 20-30K) and they're cheap. Performance is okay - excellent for the money, but not as good as the Azenis or RE010. You can (and should) get them in the stock size 195/55-15.
The Azenis are cheap but they don't last all that long (most folks get 10-12K miles on a set although there have been reports up to 20K). Dry traction is excellent. Many folks report that they don't do well on wet pavement. And they're very heavy.
The RE010 is more expensive but they DO last pretty long (most folks get 15-20K miles on a set although there have been reports up to 30K; mine have 20K now and still plenty of tread left). Dry and wet performance is excellent.
Your money, your choice.

i had the azenis great dry traction. wet roads held up great, very loud, i installed them just before a 7000km drive to canadas east coast where the paved roads meet gravel( not good on gravel). on the drive there i slamed on the brakes it did not hydroplane. it does when the threads gets low, i have the khumo 712 now i had them on for 3 days now very quiet have not put them on dry roads yet because its been raining everyday, as per rain they work great. OE tires are best but alot off $$. tirerack has some great reviews. give it a read up
prices differ alot from tire shops check around first
