Finally my dynosheet and some pics ! D16 powaaa !!
Finally Im posting my result ! Im pretty happy with the result even if I didnt reach my psychological mark...of 300 whp ... My tuner dont want to go over 15 psi on pump fuel, he said that its not really safe... my goal was to boost 20 psi and I boost only 15. Im really happy too cuz it is my first engine that I build by myself...I was using to install all the bolt-on parts, swap engine and all that but now building an engine is really cool its another step yyou know... ! If it break thats my fault and if he run well I can tell that is my engine loll
Anyway, I find that the top-end is so nice and this is what I wanted... last summer I was running a Greddy kit with a TD04H-15G and the power band was just the opposite of what I have now, fast spool but no top-end at all.... Now my car sounds like a VR6 at 8200 !!!
For all the guys who want to know the spooling time of the SC50 .63AR on a D16... it start to spool at around 3800 and full boost at 4500 or so... but after this your better grab your steering lol ! Personnaly I got a smaller turbo before and now a bigger and I prefer the bigger, now it drives like a real Honda should be drive... you have to downshift to get power sometime, you have to rev it......
Here is the specs of this lil engine....
D16Z6 red line at 8200.
Turbo SC50 .63ar
Lovefab sst
Benson block
CP 9.1 pistons
Eagle rod
Crower spring and ti-retainer
Supertech .5mm os valves
Stock cam
ported head
Y8 manifold
Moroso pan
Msd SCI + blaster coil
Padawan power steering removal kit
Precision 680cc
Greddy IC
HKS ssqv
SM enginnering vacuum manifold
Hondata HG
AEM EMS
Home made oil cooler
Tial 38 mm WG
3 inch exhaust and 2.5 inch DP
Magnaflow resonator
now the only thing who miss is 20 psi ...
Dyno result on a Mustang dyno 286.9 whp at 7750 and still growing... with 202 of torque.
Here is me on the installation giving some love to this engine to be sure that he wont blow and will start too
The bling bling engine !
The engine bay with my army head cover looks pretty nice !
I want to thanks all the honda-tech member who helped me in my choice of parts like Elspool who is always awnsering to my stupid question loll ! My best friend Seb to help me to do all this properly ! Andre for his help and the ported head. My girlfriend who love and understand what I do ( reallly important thats why im with her for 4 years lol ). And all the guys from the http://www.isrcrew.com board
Mat
I will be glad to awnser all your question if im able to !

i love seeing good numbers outta these small little motors. Good stuff bro. With some good race fuel and 20psi she would be over 300whp.

you might be right but i bet his sohc built would cost less or about the same as a stock b-series swap. and this motor will make more than a stock b-series on boost anyday

that comment sounds like its coming from an insecure person who envies the b-series swap </TD></TR></TABLE>
When I had a Honda, I was a firm believer in D series motors, but now I'm a DSM guy.
