if installed properly, its a good deal, but in the hands of someone who does not know what they are doing, things can go wrong quick

yeah really, a "better" installation has nothing to do with it. even when installed correctly these lsd's are very weak. most anycar with over 215whp all motor or 300whp turbo will break one of these with the quickness.

I used one in one of our cars and it lasted a while...guess we we're lucky
It was a built b20vtec with a jackson blower and squeeze, it made 290 ft/lb @2800 off the bottle. We ran it on 24"s for a long time with no problems, but I guess we just got lucky

it also has to do with how you drive it. we got one to last a while on a 400whp turbo street car. but put some slicks on it and sidestep it at a dragstrip... and you sir phantom grip, ARE the weakest link.

If I had to guess, as with most performance parts, no.

I used twin track for last season and it worked great. Just make sure you have it installed right. You must machine the side gears in the tranny before installing to make suer a perfect fit. then you sould be good. Im just running N/A lsvtec though, but alot of people are running much more power without any problems.

Both our cars run it 1991 crx H22a and 1992 civic H22a both drag setup no problems here. Get the upgraded spring (green) talk to Janice at Phantom Grip.

To answer all the doubters out there.
John Browns race car does use the Phantom Grip, and he did win a championship using it.
Otis Evans uses the Phantom Grip on his Pro Stock Car, no problems
Darrell *** Racing uses the Phantom Grip in the Pro 4/ Hot Rod class car.
SKUNK2 uses the the Phantom Grip in all of thier road race cars.
Also, I have seen John and team pull thier tranny at an event and show they use the Phantom Grip piece. So, if You don't think it works, just ask John and he will pull the tranny and show You.

I had mine personally installed by John Brown in my all motor Coupe and never had any problems with it. It's been two years and still in my car, running strong - even with the new owner.

Oh OK, the only problem is, the people on this post are supporters or haters. So You would give Your product to someone who knows or someone who would'nt even use it.
