ITR and SI exhaust should i extend the tip
for those wanting to see pics on the car scroll down

thats lined up perfectly next to each other... reason why i am asking is because the tip is basically about 1" behind the Si tip and without extending it id imagine it would be just under the bumper but not quite flush which is what i would want... what do you guys think? its really hard to hack up an exhaust as pretty as oem itr

Best way to know is by a test fit. That way you dont weld a extention and find out its to long or something of that sort. Test fit it and see how much more you need then extend it.
In the first picture it looks pretty close, I'd test fit it though like said above. Nothing is worse then having an exhaust that people will trip over, I hated it.
either leave it as is
or if you want the tip to be perfect, put it on, and then cut and weld the tip back on according to the size you want
peace

i would leave it alone, any welding/modification done to the exhaust would ruin it. An inch or two behind the bumper is not big of a deal.

It looks good BTW but did you really increase in flow?

i think you're gonna burn the bumper. the tip is too close.

tip actually has a good inch inch and a half gap from the bumper. I put it on after driving around open header so anything would have been a downgrade.. i can always unbolt the exhaust on track day + i like stock sounding exhaust
