The two sets of numbers you have are the same plug.

BCPR7E-11 same plug? I currently have BCPR6E-11 in there and I figured I'd replace it an extra step colder, so this would be the logical next plug correct?

BCPR7s are different plugs. Here is what we use:

BKR7 = B18C1, B18C5
ZFR7 = B18B
BCPR = B16A, D16

The -11 means that they're pre gapped at the factory to 0.44. This means it doesn't matter which ones U get, because you'd have to regap them anyway.

With stock ignition, between .28 to .30. If U have MSD or something, go between .32 to .34 or so.

at 16 psi of boost to avoid detonation(works on the street too) here is a part # you want it's NGK R5671-A9 it's a racing plug w/ a 9 heat range
1 set cost about 25$
if you need them i can help you (I got em in stock)
bcpr6---- is a stock civic/crx plug copper electrode
bkr7e has a special electrode 7 heat range
bkr7es-11 same as above + the electrode has a special insulator
+ it is pre gaped to1.1mm

Is gapping the same as the B18C1 when boosting at 15lb of boost?

the -11 on the end of the title indicates the preset gap of .040.

I run the BKR6ES-11 on my turbo LS/VTEC. A friend of mine with a turbo GSR runs the same. We both run stock ignitions, with the plugs gapped to .30, with no problems. The "6" plugs are 1 heat range colder. It's good for daily driving (doesn't foul out as easily as the "7's" do), yet they don't miss like stock plugs.

Different gaps...the 7E-11s are gapped to ~44 while the 7Es are gapped to ~35

Hmm i'm using BKR7Es on my turbo B16....

How does the engine affect which plugs you shoudl be using? (i.e. use this plug for B16 or this other plug for B18)

the BKR7Es are copper right?

Now what about plugs for stock ignition vs. upgraded ignition?

for NGK plugs the higher the number the colder the plug
For DENSO plugs the lower the number the colder the plug

if you're using an ignition amplifier you would benifit if you gap it from stock1.1mm
to 1.5-2.0mm but do not use Platinum plugs
hope this helps you

absolutely?
it's actually better; if you're going high boost
it wears out faster than platinums but it's worth the money
plugs are cheaper than a detonated motor
good luck....
let me know if i can help.....
