Default B16A2 1990DX SWAP

Maybe someone can help me understand this confusion alittle bit. Ive got a B16A2 from what used to be my 99 Si. I went by a performance shop today to talk to them about the wiring harness to get it converted. Donor car.........90 CRX DX.

Ok, they told me that I was going to have to send off the harness to get rewired and they told me that probably my best bet was to get in touch with http://www.jdmcars.com. The shop said JDM may have an exact swap for the harness...remove the DX, replace it with the new.

Got in touch with them, they tell me send them the DX harness, and my 99 Si harness and it would be $495 shipped. Ok, questioning that I called HASport. They told me that with that motor there were alot of routes to take. I told him to just tell me the easiest route with a stock motor for the time being. He says, 92-95 civic SI ECU, send the wiring harnesses to them, and get a OBD0 to OBD1 conversion done.

Ok purpose of the FAQ. I have the B16A2, trans, ECU, complete wiring harness, underhood fuse box, and every other little nut and bolt from under the hood. If I have the 99 Si wiring harness, why cant the entire DX motor be removed, wiring harness be removed, and replaced with everything that came from my 99 Civic?

This is where the confusion sets in.........the wiring harness wires straight into the B16 and then goes into the underhood fuse box, then goes to the ECU........what needs to be rewired???????? Im thinking maybe little things like speed sensors and such...........BTW I got a JDM instrument cluster for the SIR which uses the Speed sensor rather then the speedo cable. Besides the point, just like to know whats up with the wiring. PLEASE someone familar with the swap either tell me what route you took............or explain to me the reason for the wiring. Thankx.
