Default Rear Sway Bar Options - Whiteline?

I'm trying to determine my options for a rear bar and don't feel like dropping the standard $400 for a Mugen 26mm.

I just came across a new option potentially. Whiteline lists an adjustable rear sway bar for the ITR (24mm) which appears to adjust to a corresponding range of 22-26mm.

Part # (code): #BHR72Z
Price: ~$165 USD

Anyone ever used this bar? How in the heck do you order one here in the states?!?

FYI, we carry Whiteline sway bars. I'm checking on pricing for the one stated above.

I'd be interested to hear some thoughts on this bar from those that have had it for a while....

Chris - who would gladly sell his mugen 26mm for a good adjustable bar.

I bought the last one Global Parts Source had. They're the authorized North American distributor. They had 2 in their warehouse about a week ago, someone else bought one and I got the other one. Shipped to my house Friday, installed Saturday.

Visually, the shape is identical to the OEM ITR rear bar, sans the ends of the bar. This bar is adjustable and has different end links supplied which allow you to choose from 2 positions. The holes are 1inch apart. The factory ITR link splits the difference of the two holes, meaning the first is inboard 1/2" from the OEM location and the the second is 1/2" further out. Color is metallic grey vs black and the diameter is 24mm vs 22mm. Bar is shipped with new end links and sway bar bushings (24mm yellow poly).

Install was easy, although the "Whiteline" graphic is upside down so unless you're a fly, you'll never be able to see it because it's facing the underside of the car

Haven't got the car off the jackstands yet, but I'm expecting a nice improvement in rear stiffness. In the meantime, maybe some of the mathematicians on the list can calculate the difference in stiffness between this bar (in both settings) vs. the OEM bar and the Mugen 26mm.

from the description, it sounds like the bar is thicker than stock, but the mounting points make it go anywhere between 22 to 24 to 26 effectively?

And whatever happened with the "saner" bar?

Also, didn't someone else have a 30mm hollow bar that was about as stiff as the mugen 26mm?

Hrmness..... I just don't know what to get.....

Saner desperately needs to work on their website. They've offered a civic/integra bar forever now and it's still not listed - and not a single picture to be found. The add in GRM is good, but directing them to that site is a horrible.

FWIW, I believe Cusco has a 25mm bar for a lot less than the Mugen 26mm.

.....technically, isn't 1" a 25.4mm bar?

I can get them to you for 175 + shipping or if you are local, you are welcome to pick up. Local will have to pay sales tax though. I might be able to get them a little cheaper if I am doing more than one.

I should post a pic of my whiteline coils that rusted to **** in the span of a year. They have had serious problems in the past with bad coatings on their parts, and I know the Subaru community has somewhat shunned whiteline products.

just an fyi.....
