I'm installin my jdm front today and got a question bout my lights.. i did a search.. and noone has ever mentioned this part. my hid's came with this black bracket that looks like it might fit underneath the lights somewhere.. but i cant figure out how it works.. everyone ive talked to didnt have this piece and im wondering if it supports the hid ballast somehow... i'll get pics up soon.. any help would be great.

you don't need it, take it off. Your lights fit fine without. Also, to make it easier to get the lights to fit, loosen that black piece that spans across the front (the black metal piece that the bumper slides into).

thanks for the diagram.. gonna need it to replace or fix anything around those areas. I never knew you could take apart the ballast. Heard from individuals not to play wit dem.. so i didn't.
