Front lip How-To
Sorry it took long long to get the pics developed guys. not a lot of free time lately.
Anyway, here it goes.
Here's what you need to get.

-It's the filler panel piece from an 87-88 Nissan Maxima. The front and the sides are separate
-Remove your front bumper
- You'll see this metal bracket inside of the corners of the lip holding the sides on.

-Remove the metal piece and replace the screws.
-Then mock up the lip to the bumper.
-On the bottom of the bumper you may have to cut a little bit because the lip has pieces that stick out towards the back. You'll see what I'm talking about once you match them up.I probably could have cut them off but it was easier to cut the bumper.
-Then if you are going to use screws to fasten the lip just start screwing down the front piece.( I suggest self-tapping screws because the plastic of the lip is EXTREMELY hard)
-Now the bend in the corners weren't exactly the same as the bumper. That's why we removed the metal bracket.
-Loosen the screws and line the sides of the lip with the bumper and fasten(screw) it down.
-Then re-tighten the screws.
_Now you'll see the lip is a little long.

-So what I did was mark the line I wanted to cut and took the hacksaw to it. Then sanded it smooth.
-Then paint and Voila!!!!

Hopefully this was helpful for some. PM me if you guys have any questions

I just don't like the plainess of the stock Si lip(and the fact my car never had one) So I just picked this one up and slapped it on. It was cheap and easy(just how I like em'
)
Thanks for the compliments though

Yeah. I'm pretty sure this will work on all 88-91's. Mine is an 88 so I'm not sure about the bend of a 90-91's bumper.
Also, I first used zip ties to hold it on but I replaced them with some self tapping screws and I got a better fit because I could bend the lip better than with the zips. They just flexed, so the lip didn't contour much. But the screws held it in place and I could bend it to flow almost perfectly with the bumper.

I was walking through pic-a-part and seen it laying on the ground. I thought it would look good as a chin spoiler. So I found an ED in the junkyard and did a test fit right there. The piece was only like $11.00 so I couldn't pass it up.
It's great cuz there are always like 20 87-88 Maximas at the junkyards
And I figured it looks better than the HD lip. Plus the plastic of the Maxima piece is REALLY strong.

Because I don't want to be like you.
I guess I have never seen an HF lip then. Post some pics so I ca compare. If you're right and they look the same then I'll toss my lip that SUCKS and go buy an HF front lip.
Anyway. Thanks for the input

No problem guys. I know no matter what you do there will be some people who won't like it.
I just know that it is hard to find a decent looking front lip for the ED front bumper so I wanted to share.
I don't think it looks too bad

It didn't brake. My GF curbed it and the plastic got all rubbed down.
She was making a U-turn and the corner of the lip hit the curd and got filed down. SHE SAYS it doesn't look too bad but I think it looks like *** now. Maybe I'm just more pissed because of her carelesness cuz my roommate says you can really notice either
But the plastic it's made from is strong
