Its so hard to sell anything in classifieds, Is there a way to split it up a bit maybe by car or by types of things being sold.

Civics, Tegs, Preludes, Others

or

Engines and engine components, Wheels suspension and underbody stuff, etc.

Just an idea to maybe slow some things down so people have time to read up on what exactly is for sale. If you guys think this is stupid then delete this post or add to it.

 

i think search button is still always the best one sections still wouldnt really help that much because it'll still flow down to other pages real quick

but sometimes not all stuff for what you want pop up, because even after i search i find stuff im looking for, because people have typo's, or name their own stuff, etc etc, and half the time if you type in for example TEIN, you get it for all the other cars that you dont need it for.

bump for a good idea IMO....heres my lame story...I have a busted arm right now. I honestly have nothing to do but surf the net all day. I miss a lot of good stuff on here because the forum moves toooo fast even tho all i do is look at BS on the net.....

 

this is a good idea ...i also think the thread poster (seller) should be required to list their location (state) in the topic title...that would be so helpful for people looking to buy things locally, i think

 

bump for a good idea... location would be cool too, by states (ca,nv,etc) or region (pacific, eastern, midwest). then break down by region (bay area, socal, etc). this would be cool if its not too much trouble

The search works and all but I am building a motor right now and you cant specify things with abbreviations such as "LS' or "b18" etc.

Couldn't agree more, this is the number one problem I have with using search, that and people don't always put what they have for sale in the title. Good luck getting them to change this, it's been brought up many times before.

 

i asked this same thing like 8 months ago i must have had 3 pages of people agreeing then one of the MODS said no and that it was never gonna happen and locked my post

i liker the idea but i have a better one imo


seperate it into wheels, engine parts, tranny parts, cosmetic parts, and body parts ..... there are too many parts that can be used on more then 1 car and people would just make a thread in each forum about it and we would have done no good in sepeating it
