Do I still splice into the red/white wire running in to the ECU on a 99 teg for the O2 sensor reading?

Okay, seriously. I know people have done this. What wire did you splice into to get the readings on an OBD2 ECU?

Its plug d14. I remember mine was white and orange.

Was yours an OBD1 or OBD2 ECU? Team Integra lists how to install it on an OBD1 ECU (red and white wire). I just need to find out where that wire is for an OBD2 teg.

install it at the o2 sensor...easyer...i had mine at the ecu and then i changed it to the o2 sesnor seems to read better.. anyways the air/fuel gauge isnt that good. its a light show on a gauge.. what kind of gauge u got?

I know its a light show. I was tempted to get a EGT gauge instead, but if there's any tuning thats gonna be done its going to be at a shop done right with wideband o2 and all. Its too much work to run the wire all the way to the o2 sensor under the vehicle and also not that smart of an idea. I'm not sure if the wires for the gauge can handle that heat. In fact, the directions state to NOT mount it near the o2 sensor because of heat and the material used to coat the wire. plus it would be a bitch to install that way. All its for is to see if my nitrous is running wrong. The jets are already tuned for my fuel pressure so I shouldnt have a problem, but if I do I can see it on the gauge. If it leans out I'm spraying such a small shot I shouldnt encounter any problems for the second or two it takes me to react. Basically, it makes me feel better.

dude, install that wire into the red/white wire going into your ecu. If you have more than one wire that is white/red, splice a little off of each, and contact the wires, until you see one reacting on the gauge. Also, you will see it jumping back and forth between stoich and lean very fast, but dont worry its suppose to do that. The gauge will only be accurate when you are at 70 % WOT or greater, meaning you have to hammer the gas pedal to get an accurate reading.
Once installed, it is a fun gadget to have. It may not be as accurate as a mechanical gauge, but it will definetely give you an idea of how your engine is running. Also, it's a chick magnet when you are cruising around at night....

Okay, you guys are all wrong. I tried the white wire with red stripe. Nothing. I tried the one thats supposed to be for the OBD2 ECU. Nothing. Does anyone know what to tap into for an LS integra. That diagram only lists B18C

tap it stright into the O2 sensor under your hood, then pass the wire past your fire wall, and your done.

I dont even know where the O2 sensor wire runs under my hood. If I remember right, it goes strait into the cabin from the cat. There's only like a foot of wire thats actually outside the car.

if you have stock headers, then your O2 sensor is right on the front of the header, if you have after market headers then you will most likely see if when you look straight down from your intake manifold; it would be connected to the header where the end of the header meets the exhaust piping.
