Default 195 tire on a 5.5" wide wheel

Would 195/60/14 tires be too wide for a 14x5.5 wheel?

Would I have tires that look like they are bulging out (_) or more like flat [_]?

THANKS!

I've seen 225/50-13s on 13x5" wheels. Sure it isn't ideal, but it can be done.

I've used 195/60-14 Azenis on 14x5" '90-91 CRX Si wheels with no problems.

Yes, I have 195 14" Azenis on my VW steelies right now. You don't really notice a bulge, and the sidewalls are stiff enough where it doesn't affect handling negatively.

Thanks! That's exactly what I needed to know.

I was thinking the Azenis sidewalls are stiff enough to compensate for a skinnier wheel. I currently have 205/50/15s on 15x6.5 wheels, and they are great!

Thanks again
