After doing 10 hard runs (AutoX) yesterday...getting vibration on the wheel, shifter when accelarating...jacked up the car and checked axles and they were fine...noticed more freeplay than usual when I turned the wheels (clockwise and counterclockwise). I'm thinking tranny is shot (lsd)..any input on what could it be?

 

think you might have flung off the rubber dampener on the axle by chance? Id start by rotating the wheels, then replace axles, then last resort take the tranny out.

 

I'm taking the car to the shop this afternoon...and I'm thinking (suggested by moderator) it's the axles too...(inner CV joint)
