Edit: Stripped pics on page 7

Stolen today at my work (a mall) parking lot between 2-6 pm

Parked in the very first spot in front of the entrance to Macy's.

Anti-theft:
Power door lock fuse removed
Auto-Lock on clutch
Fuel pump kill switch
Parked in gear
Steering wheel locked to side

No broken glass, no tire marks. It had to have been flatbedded.

I knew it was going to happen eventually so I'm not all that bent out of shape about it. The only part that bothers me is that these scumbag thieves get away with it. I get to go car shopping atleast and have a new car for the summer. I don't know if I'll be on the forums as much but it was good talking to you guys.

Sorry Corona - I know how much that sucks. Thieves were probably drooling all over that thing. It looked like my milano red 98.

Maybe mall security had a surveilence tape

thats the reason y im scared to drive to the mall or the movie theater. tho my car isnt nearly as clean as urs but i know theres still somebody out there that would jack it. sorry bout ur car but atleast u get a new one.

Yeah guys, it's no joke. I was walking out to move it to a different spot after I ate dinner at 6 (I was working 2-11) and it was gone, not a trace. I thought it was safe being right in front of the door and people walking by it all day. I have a good feeling it was flatbedded.

I am looking at either a 97 BMW M3, 02 WRX, or an Audi A4. I do kinda want an S2000 but I think I've had enough with Honda's. This is the 2nd car of mine to get stolen from this mall.

 

lojack is your friend.. but still man, it seems you need to have a large dog in the car, or sit in it with a glock on your hand. all i know someone were to steal mine, i would just start shooting people in the order i see them. "where's my car" "i dunno" bam repeat it..

My thoughts exactly... I mean, whos gonna question a tow truck unless ofcourse it was you.

 

LO JACK ... you have to report it stolen first... an its not located by GPS, Onstar & Vipers are Gps is accurate with/in 15ft...

 

Yeah, that's what I mean. It's actually easy to steal a car on a flat-bed as long as you get it up onto the bed without a problem. My EZPass tag didn't have any action which makes me think it was flatbedded more. If someone was to drive it up north to newark\new york, they would most likey use my ez pass on the parkway.

I know LoJack COULD have helped but from what I've heard, some cops don't even react when the LoJack thingy goes off. That and by the time I report it, its already in it's final destination.

 

this is the type of **** that makes me wanna sell my teg... and i've only had it for about 9-10 months. The only problem is if i sell it i'll probably lose about 1-2k then once i get the money im probably gonna have to put in alittle more to get somthing i don't want, like a wrx or something.... I wonder what other cars there are out there that have the looks of a teg + the quickness/potential?

I have been wanting to sell my car before this happened. There is too much of a street market for Integra\Civic parts that if you own something nice (a GSR like mine) it is bound to get stolen. But it's going to be oh so nice to have something new for the summer.

I do want an S2000 but if I get one and make it nice I will be worrying again.

 

thats shitty your car got stolen the only thing i have learned about seeing all these ppls car that have got stolen are really nice like rims ect im going with all engine work and nothing done to the body see how it goes for me
