Not from the Bay Area but ...

Alcatraz(sp?)? Fishermans Wharf? Or less touristy things?

Broadway. Polk, O"farrell

Deja Vu, New Century.

Mitchell Bros is famous, but a rip off IMHO.

You are so lucky to be here right now... the weather has been perfect.

can always go check out the Hooters in san francisco by the pier while you're there

also you can check out the Sony Metrion (big *** technological/gadget place + movie theater)

hmm.. are you planning only to check out SF? only other thing there i'd ever wanna do if i was from outta town was to see the Golden Gate bridge, maybe some shopping in Union Square... that's about it...

Sup steve. Hmm. You can visit golden gate bridge/china town/japan town in SF. Downtown san jose would be cool too. Um... oh yea, santa cruz beach boardwalk is a classic amusment park.

i guess you can visit stanford university in palo alto or the liberals at UC berkely.

really not much to do around th ebay except visit historical landmarks.

Yep let em see......did you want to do tourist type stuff? Or like more on the entertainment side?

Broadway is a fun place to be at night. Lots of lively restaurants, strip clubs, all that good stuff.

The pier is a nice place to go for a couple hours, but not longer than that.

You could go karting at SpeedRing. Visit Twin Peaks to get a view of the whole city.

Union Square is a good place to shop if you have money to blow. China Town and Japan Town are both fun to walk around.

Be more specific about what you are looking for.

haha. thats funny

did you rent a car steve?

are we still going to have a mini meet and get some beer or wutever?

things I like to do the in bay

go to berkeley, either 4th street and marina area or near campus

lots and lots of hott girls (did you come with your wife/gf ?) walking around

alot of places to eat. there is a pyramid brewery about 5 blocks north of university. good food and pyramid hefeweizen is off the hizzle

4th street has some cool lil shops. bettys ocean view dinner has some good american style grub. really good breakfast stuff.

in the city you could go to sf modern art museum (sfmoma) and metreon area. not much to do at metreon besides see a movie.

there is also the exploritorim in sf kinda near golden gate park. its like a science place, kinda neat if you are into stuff like that.

if you have wheels then you could drive across the golden gate bridge to john muir beach. great beach and its a nice drive out there. if you feel like it you can hike to the top of the hill (a big one) and at top you have a great view of the whole bay. you can see south sf, golden gate, pier area of sf, and most all of oakland, berk, and hayward
you might seem some surfers in the freezing pacific coast water

there is also a cool chocolate place in berkeley, but I cant remember the name of it.

is there anything you feel like doing specifially?
like food, active, kick back, girls, golf. ???

Go to a Packers game, if you're in the Green Bay area.

Go to a Bucs or Devil Rays game, if you're in the Tampa Bay area.

Which bay area are you talking about, anyway?

Steve...I'll call you tonight to see what's going on, if you want to hit up the Napa Valley for some wine tasting stuff let me know, I'll also be in the San Jose area for most of Saturday doing a little work on the car, and helping Jeff Sloan(jeff652) out.
