What's the average age of those who still love their R...
I think it would be interesting to see who still loves their R and never plan on selling it and how old you are. When I bought the car at 25, I thought I would never sell it. It's amazing what 2 years can do to ones life style.

I'm not a young one anymore, but will hold on to the car for a very long time to come...
Partly due to I have 1.7 more years left
But that has nothing to do with keeping it.

I'm 28 now and I still like the car. The only thing that keeps me from "loving" the car is the whole theft issue. If I could seriously just drive it like any other car, I'd actually would love the car.
And I really can't blame the whole boy racer stimga of the car either since my next car could range anywhere from a big winged AWD car to a Corvette to perhaps even an Elise.

I'll be 31 next week, and I have no plans to sell. Although I did consider moving to an S2000 for a short time
And for the record, it's those.

Maybe you should start a separate poll for that.

Just turned 23. Bought it new with 8 miles on her. I think I have 28 or 29 payments of 500.00 each to go.
Wow, Craig, your spelling has gotten better with all this thinking about your life.
And good job not overlapping the ages in the poll like everyone else always does.

27 now, bought my first ITR at 24. Boy was that a good feeling too... 6 miles, and what was amazing was the number car I was "given". I had not even sat in it when I bought it, but after taking ownership I noticed it was #361, which was my home address! Fate? HELLYEAH!
Geez,
Or perhaps that should be Geezer....... I'm 51 and played with cars for 33 years now. Soon as its warmer I'm pulling the tranny for a light flywheel install and that's not the first or last mod.<LOL>
Asspenny, make sure its what YOU want and not just what you think you should want. Never conform for the sake of conforming, you lose in the long run.
BTW, I'm wrenching for a friend of mine this weekend who's roadracing his kart at Kershaw. He's in his mid 60's and has battled for National Championships as long as I've known him

i've had it for 3.5 years and have no intention on selling. i did consider it for a short time just because i was in the process of moving and i wasn't sure if i'd have a garage to store it in. that is the only reason i could see myself selling it.
im 20 bought it at 17, its paid, i love it to death just as much as im scared of someone taking it away from me, id rather go the full protection route than the g 35 though.. ill just save up for a house and keep the beater for now, once i buy a house ill either buy a nice daily driver our a 240 SX. since its not a comfy car, i made it as uncomfy as possible and gonna track it only by age 23 if god lets me
im planning on moving from quebec to florida suburbs to go race with all the itr guys on this board. all i need to do is find a job and a house near some of the best tracks in the country, that'll be my deciding factor. Thank god for still having it after 3 years with 3 storaged winter. i didn't drive my R in a year..
instead of paying my insurance I invested 7k in it to take it out better, i can't wait, only one month or so
)
Yes i am a ITR crazed owner too, you arent alone people

I am 19... I got the car when I was 17 as a birthday/college car... I will never get rid of this car, however I am getting a bit sick of it because of how horrible it is for long trips(horrible insulation)... I need to get a daily driver thats a bit smoother and more quiet... Still Love it though~
I'm 29, and I'm still as rabid about performance cars as when I was 18. I'm simply looking to transfer the R's equity into a house and then an STI
Plus my MSP daily driver keeps me entertained.
