also, im not sure if it is set up the same on the old mounts but you don't use the original screw places with the newer hasport mounts. you use the holes just to the right of the ones where the stock mount went. don't know if you knew that, if so, sorry.

what about it doesn't fit right?

You might also have to beat on the Drivers side inner frame rail.
This is done by placing duct tape over the area shown in Figure 1. A large hammer is then used (Fig. 2) to create a dimple in the area outlined in red (Fig. 1). This dimple needs to be 3/8" to 1/2" in depth to provide clearance for the alternator pully and Alternator belt. The finsihed dimple is shown in Figure 3 outlined in red.

is this a problem because you can't get a bolt back there to secure it down. or more like it wont sit right cause the firwall is in the way?

You could try a lil shorter belt. Ryan

Just use the proper size belt ; undo the mounts, lift the b16 up a little with a hoist, and then keep pounding the framerail....don't worry, theframe will not get damaged. Pound till you have 3/8" of a inch clearance. It is easy. Then lower the engine back down and see if the clearance you have is satisfactory.

hasports.com should still have wiring info posted on their site. And I always suggest using a shorter alt belt, I mean why not, then you dont have to make as big of a dent. Ryan
