sometimes dynos just take a fart when they are logging the info...sometimes its other causes......but you really have to becareful when you read dyno numbers...
peak numbers can be VERY misleading.....usually the dyno program will let you trace the plot so u see what the peak number would have been ......

your motor looks good none the less.....it still has alot of untapped potential...

are you runing the stock b16a1 or a2.
you should look in to the hondata intakemainfold gasket and a diy ground kit.

hehe seems like ppl are getting 200 alot easier now...jdm itr pistons i already have..header will be an-r

icey112

naw my motor is not tuned...honestly theres nothing i can tune anyways..i have jutst a stock set-up..not even a chip ecu or vafc..i guess i did a pretty good job putting the motor together..what still makes me happy is that it puts out Type R power w. such a mild set-up..

and w. the set-up u posted looks like 190hp+ shouldnt be a problem..

btw: 136tq is a spike..it really made around 125tq..

I know everyone seems to love a "kick" when vtec engages, but I would consider lowering the vtec engagement a few hunder. You'll pick up some torque and power just before the dipe.

Consider this. Set vtec real, real low like 3000 rpm and make a dyno pass, then set vtec real high like 7000 and make a pass. Then overlay power curves. Choose vtec engagement where the two power curves intersect, plus or minus a 100 or 200 rpm. This will reduce the vtec "kick" but will also maximize your torque and power curves (ie. area under the curves).

thanks alot..some of my friends think i have cams or something..its really a strong motor...

i just installed my vafc and looking at my a/f ratio looks like i need to lean out the

top end from 5800 to 8000...what i dont know is the % to put..i mean how much

is -1% of fuel...yes i know dyno is the best way..but i know some of you knows

alot about this and could suggest an amount for me, by just looking at the a/f ratio....please let me know thanks

the Vafc's usually dont like to be messed with by more than a few %
the stock computer doesnt like big changes.
