the motor is going into a del sol s.

i currently have just the stock d15b7

will all this extra mumbo-jumbo bolt up? or do i need to buy all these tidbits from the stock intake manifold?

also i'm getting a 61mm throttle body and hopefully have it bored/ported to 62-64mm.

but as far as all these mounts, and that crazy piece to the left, what all can i use off the stock d series manifold? any of the mounts?


i dont ahve any stock parts right now, building the motor from scratch.

i have yet to have the block shipped, but its a stock b18c1 block. obd1, b16a3 head compelte with stock valvetrain. i ordered a fuel rail and stock injectors and an fpr. but any other stuff that needs to go on/with the intake manifold? some of the stuff int he diagram above i have never seen before

 

get a z6 or y8 head on that d15b7

 

he said he already has the Skunk 2 IM. and yes you can steal parts off you stock IM, but i see you dont have them. i would suggest finding somebody that has some of the stock parts or an extra IM laying around. really there is just the injectors, fuel rail, a few sensors and some hoses and they can be taken off a stock IM. good luck

its for a DOHC motor.

if you don't have ANY OF the parts, like you said. best bet would be to buy a complete b16a IM with everything on it.

and yes you will need all the tid bits only thing you don't need is the IM

 

so none of the stuff (liek part 14) i can pull of my current manifold?...i know people said you can use the throttle cable off the d series. but what do all the other misc stuff do? are they just sensors/wiring etc. or are the mounts for other equpiment found on b series engines...

You'll need the ITR throttle cable and bracket for the Skunk2 Intake manfifold. You can buy these parts at http://www.jdmgears.com under the OEM Honda category.

i think in the how-to page, he used a lot of parts from his old manifold. but its a great page so i know where to begin

i guess i have to hunt down a full intake manifold now -_-' i thought i could jump the gun by getting the skunk 2 but i guess that was a mistake...
