alright guys, as you all know Jason aka ST00PID is an amazing tuner, and he will be making a trip to cali on march 13/14 to go to a hondata tuning session, afterwards he is willing to stay and do a tuning session for N. Cali folks.

Catch is, it will be $750/Day for him to stay, which means that if we have 5 ppl interested in one day, it'll be 150 per person + dyno time, and I am sure we can arrange something with Modacar again or, use a dyno somewhere else close in san jose (I need to ask Johnny Bravo to see if he can hook us up).

Jason will also need a place to stay, so we will need to arrange something for him, and last but not least someone will need to come and pick him up in LA.

I will need a defnate answer + a non refundable $100 deposit for those of you interested, also, if we do not get a minimum of 5 ppl interested, this session will not go through.

Expect dyno time to be around 50-75 per person, per hour.

Let me reiterate...

It will only be $150/per person if we have 5 confirmed participants. On the other hand if we have 6 confirmed it will be only $125, and $108 if we have 7.

Basically the more ppl whose interested the less it will cost each individual...

Our limit is only 10-12ppl for the whole day...

Not to be a dick in any way, but for those who needs an extra favor from Jason i.e accordfreak, please hold off till the very end of the day when he is finished with everyone else b/c those are the paying customers.

Nothing personal but I just want to make sure that everyone including myself gets taken care of first before he moves on to doing other things...

I can only tune 3-4 cars a day. that gives everyone a decent amount of time to get their cars tuned. just to clear things up.

 

hrmm ... my sr20DE-------T needs to be tuned. 580CC w/ greddy e-manage. however the mtoor isnt in the best shape from what im reading from the old posts of the old owner plus the tranny still needs to be beeffed up and i need to put in my new clutch .. u recommend i just hold off ?

 

If you question the strength of your motor, you should hold off until you are confident that you have a strong setup. However if you feel like it will be able to take the dyno pulls, I have the GReddy emanage software, I dont have the wire though.

I just talked to Jason (aka st00pid) about his trip to california. He's going to be in LA on March 13 & 14th. If we can get enough cars together he'll come up here (norcal) to do some tuning. We need a minimum of 4 cars for this to happen. He can tune 4 cars a day. He will stay and tune cars as long as there are enough cars and its worth his time. If we get enough interest the first day of tuning will be on Monday March 15th. There will be a required $100 non-refundable deposit for each car. That $100 will count towards your tuning fee. Jason charges $750 a day for tuning. So if there are 4 cars that comes out to $187.50 each car, plus dyno time. Last time at modacar they charged us $60 an hour for dyno time. So your looking at around 300-$350 total for everything. Jason tunes just about everything from hondata, AEM, speed pro, etc. Jason knows his $hit and believe me you are getting an awesome price. So who's interested?

 

If there is enough interest let me know...Jason is always welcome to use the dyno at our shop. We would honor the same deal as last time, but try and figure it out soon while those days are still open

I agree. First off we need to get atleast 4 cars together, which would be a good full day of tuning for Jason. My buddy is definately interested.

Not sure if you guys have settled on a place, but Dynospot racing has a dynojet with wideband in SAN JOSE.

it'd be wrong to go there and use their dyno and not have lawrence tune the cars instead... so thats out of the question...

Do you want to get your car tuned? We need to get enough cars first then worry about the place to dyno later.

 

My friends shop has a Dynojet and Wideband as well. If you guy's have this set up for sure, I can get us hooked up. I'm in for sure if we can get everyone else in...

I just talked to Johnny bravo. He's is interested along with his friend. So we now have 3 cars.

If we could get 1 more car then we could make this happen. Two would be perfect. Since Johnny's car doesn't need a full tune his car would only be on the dyno for a short period of time. Hence the need for one more car. Johnny said he can get us a dyno in (Advanced autowerks) San Jose. He told me the price, but I'll let him tell you guys. It was really cheap to.

This will have to take place on a monday. Jason is going to be in LA on saturday and sunday. If we get enough cars for 2 days then we could have a monday and tuesday session. However, it looks like we only have enough for one day. We need to get commits real fast to. Jason needs to know asap, because he'll have to purchase a plane ticket.

 

I'm in... But i'm gonna talk to Jason to see if he can squeeze one more car in to help reduce the cost for everyone...

also, since we have 4 confirmed ppl, Johnny Bravo can you set us up with the place and give us the rate information?
