A friend of mine is into working on amps/headunits and doing some hybrid stuff, so if any of you have stuff laying around cheap, let me know...

I have a sony tape deck its about 5-6 years old. also have the CD changer. I think I have an old *** Aiwa head unit.

 

I got a sony 4 channel amp that have it protection circuit light on. Can't figure how to power it up again.. amp touched ground.

 

want a stock 94 civic EX deck, all you have to do is pay for shipping or pick it up. has like quarters and **** in it, but no charge if he likes to play, i don't have the time to find the short circuit so he can have it if he wants it.

I have a Pioneer DEH P7000 R........

Sometimes this unit works fine and sometimes it catches a lot of noise/static (with and without an amp). At first I thought it had something to do with the pre-outs and fixed it for a bit, but then when I put it in a different car (without an amp) I ran into the same problem....sometimes it worked fine and sometimes it didn't. If your buddy knows what he is doing, this should be an easy fix for him - and this is a pretty nice deck.

How much would you offer for this? Let me know. Remote is included.

i'll check tomm. i think it does power up. its a 2 channel. i know it used to run two 12's hard. it might be an easy fix. 40$

** as far as cd players, he's mainly only looking for stuff worth fixing (high end pioneer, alpine, anything with a motorized LCD, etc)
