i think im maybe the second person on here with megan racing lower control arms because everyone is obsessed with purple srr's. anyway, i received these yesterday. they look like really good quality and they are pretty beefy. they are the same length as the oem's. for $91, these are awesome. i bought these so i could hook up my gsr sway bar. i was suppose to get it yesterday but didnt, hopefully today. anyways heres the pics (yes my car is filthy)

i'm actually considering selling mine, because i was under the impression these were shorter for camber correction. i may end up having to get SRR's, which i was trying to avoid spending that much money on.

yup, its safe spot to place the jackstands. well i put them there because i wasnt taking off the wheels so if it did fall i wouldnt get hurt anyways..
or you could put them in front of the rear wheels..

i didnt have to take my wheels off to put these on either, so having 17's sometimes can be nice hehe

Jack it up on the rear tow thing, then put the jackstands on the brackets on each side.

Nice Are these LCA's any lighter than oem ones? And how are they bushings that come installed in them?

 

just to let your guys know, my SPC control arms are shorter in length than OEM arms, thus it fixes camber

yes they are lighter (aluminum) but dont know how much lighter, i should of weighed them. the bushings are as good, if not better than oems. each one has a allen head set screw for the bushing to make it fast and easy to change a bushing while on the track, as someone said here before. overall they are top notch and worth every bit of $91.

the guy i bought them from and hes the guy who sells them for 92-95's just got his ebay account temporarily suspended for 14 days though. he told me they said he had too many multiple auctions.

SRR comes in purple only.
But Perpetual Concepts in the HT sponsor section are able to powdercoat them any color you want for a bit extra. They have great price and great service. Andrew gets a from me.
One of these days i'll get around to putting up info on all the srr stuff i've bought from them.

I had a 205 40 17 tire before and it doesnt rub my fenders, now that i got some 215 40 17 they rub like crazy will Lca help limit the amount of rubbing? I assume the Lca if shorter pulls the whole rotor, calipar/ etc assembly more inward, am i correct?

Are LCA's easy to install. Like it's been so long since I lowered a car, so is it

pretty much taking the steps of lowering a car and then placing the LCA's in there.

Also, what's the big deal about these. Like I have a concept of them, but rather be

told right or set in the right path about this item. TIA. Sorry for high jacking the

thread, but I've been very interested.
