I was wondering if any body has used the Energy Suspension Motor Mount Inserts for the 4th Gen 92-96 preludes on a 97 up? Or is there some other company that makes them because i cant find any. thanks.
yes they will work on your 5th gen. buy them off shaun, i just got a set for 32 shipped, https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=713941
well i just got them and i thinks its well worth the money. however the car will shake/rattle at idle as a result of the inserts. its well worth it though, eliminated my wheel hop and shifts feel much stronger.

they come in a set, however people don't install the rear insert in an attempt reduce vibration or they are being lazy. installing the rear mount isn't very fun.

It experiences a backwards rotational force. The front mount can equally stop the rotational force, but with the added benefit that when the motor is not under load it rests on the softer rear mount.
watch my dyno vid....214whp 167tq and my engine doesn't move with the front mount only http://satan.higginstribe.com/nov18dyno.mov
Instead the car tries to lift itself off te dyno

Thanks for the link, I ordered some today.
For anybody that has installed all of the inserts, how hard were they to install, and can you do it without pulling the motor, sorry I havn't ever done these so Im not sure what to expect.

I installed the front mount insert ( i am gonna wait till i pull the motor for the rear) and the affect was amazing. not only did it not rattle the doors off like everyone says, it completely eliminated wheel hop, and now I can't even break traction in 2nd, when before the mounts i could chirp third, hands down the best 32 dollar mod you could do, talk to Shaun and he has awesome deals on them https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=713941. peace out, oh yeah, it took like 45 mins to install and was farily simple.

Yeah, I'm happy with just installing the front mount, cuase it did so much, and it saves you from the rattles that using both gives you, I might put it in when I pull the motor, but I am more than satisfied with the results of the front
