Hondata Rom Editor 3.5.5 and hesitation
This is directly from hondata the fixes:
RomEditor changes for version 3.5.5: (ROM version 37)
- Fixed incorrect 3bar tables when creating a new ROM or importing a ROM.
- Fixed 600 mbar glitch.
According to Jeff (Boosted Hybrid) this fixed the hesitation problem on a vehicle he previously tuned. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet as the weather is very shitty in IL.
It is suppose to warm up next week so I will keep everyone posted when I get a chance to play with it. Enjoy.
Confirmed by Hondata.

Last week we had in a car that exibited a hesitation around the 600 mBar area that could not be tuned out or attributed to any other cause. Some code changes were made which fixed this problem.

This is indeed the "fix" that we've all been waiting for. Any of my FI Hondata customers that would like to have their ROMs updated, drop me a line or give me a call to set up a time to stop by - no charge.

so is this is the hesitation area that everyone always speaks of with the new (now, 1 model back) rom editor that never happened with the stage2/3/4 editor?
Jeff (Boosted Hybrid) confirmed to me that they upgraded a customer with the new software who had the hesitation and it fixed it. I will be updating my tune asap
to hondata for finally taking care of this issue.

Hondata never admitted before it could be a glitch and now they are saying it was? hmm. Nice fix none the less
I'll have to get my map reburned and see if it gets rid of the hesitation issue I'm having.

No,
Every car that had been brought to us until last week had hesitation problems that could be fixed by replacing faulty parts or retuning. We have had an open invitation for quite some time for people experiencing "hesitation"
Everything from bad starting to poor performance in bed has been blamed on the hesitation problem, which has made it very difficult to troubleshoot.

Yes.
Yes.
You have to join the usergroup called Romeditor or something. There should be directions under the user-area.
