Default tire queston

what do u guys thinks about having 205 50 15 in the front and 195 50 in the back how would that look any pics any info thanks (99 si)

Ummmmm, any specific reason you would do that? There wouldnt be too much of a difference.

As for pics, just search. The majority of the cars on this board have slips with 205-50-15s on them.

2 of my tires need to be replaced n the other 2 r in good shape. so get (2 )205 and later get the other 2. reason for that is they r 110 each. iam a poor man help

my friend replaced his tires 2 at a time too... 195/55-15 in the back, 205/50-15 in the front. you really couldnt tell the difference

It is one way to counter the understeer of front drive cars is to go staggered tire size.

Buy yourself a set of four 205/50-15 Kumho Ecsta 711s. They are $43 apiece at TireRack.com.

Going with a narrower tire in rear is only done as a last resort, particularly when suspension modifications are limited (i.e. in SCCA Solo-2 Stock class). Ideally, you want to increase grip in front as much as possible before you start taking it away from the rear. Also, this is a common practice with R-compound tires, but it is rarely done with street tires because they lack grip to begin with.
