You can remove all of the SRS system wiring, and the small computer underneath the very center of the dash, I can imagine it would be easier without the dash in as it took me hours to remove the SRS wiring with the dash in.

Lightweight wheels would make a noticable improvement in weight savings and track performance.

Bumper supports, power steering, rear wiper, antenna, radio, speakers, speaker brackets, washer fluid nozzles, washer fluid reservoir, the little tab that holds the floor mats in place, the list goes on.

And the dead pedal, take it out too.

I saw someone on here that took out almost 300 lbs, before welding in the cage.

Lexan windows, carbon fiber body panels, if it's a track car then take out the headlight assemblies and fill them in.

I guess i should of been more clear. What i meant is that is there anything else behind the dash to take out. I heard that there
is a bar behind the dash weighing like 10 lbs and its not necessary? I already have the car gutted inside along with the bumper supports, etc.

Cant post anymore due to limit. is there any pics of this bar cause not really sure where it is located.

The bar can be removed, but I'm not sure of what kind of effect this will have on safety.

Also, did you remove the body supports in the rear quarter panels? If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's the bolted in piece of metal right behind the ABS computer.

If you've got the dash off you should be able to see the "bar". There's only one there. It attaches to the sheet-metal mount that the brake pedal and steering column are bolted to and curves down and to the left. I *think* it's just an additional support for the steering column, but it doesn't seem necessary to me. It doesn't weight 10 lbs though.

As stated, take out the SRS computer located underneath the heater core, and take out the SRS sensors located in the firewall at both the driver's and passenger's feet.

There is more information in the archives - even if you can't find it.

Well i have been searching for more things to take outta of my car for weight savings, but ive done most than others.

heres the list of things i have taken out

PS removal
A/C
Rear Bumper Support
Spare Tire and Jack
Rear Wiper
Gsr Wing
Exhaust Heatshields
All Sound deadening tar from under carpet and rear hatch
Misc Bolts and brackets
No Rear Seats or hatch carpet

I weighed in at 2542 w/ me in it and so take away 135
and get 2413

I have since added a CF hood, but havent weighed it since

but my next move is either a fiberglass hatch or cf and some lexan windows for the rear sides and hatch

by the way does anyone know where i could order custom fit windows for the rear of a 3rd gen integra???

nope, those wheels are wrapped in and coated in epoxy or clear coat or whatever. The wheels without the CF would weigh less.
