Default need new tires, Kumho any good?

I need new tires, winter is coming, and my stock bridgestones are bald like my head... the Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 is what i heard is a good tire, most bang for your buck... will the 205/50-15 fit w/o messing up the speedo/odo? also, i am getting the spoon sw388's soon, will the tire size fit both wheels (spoon and stock)?

If your going to be driving in the snow the Kumho's won't be too good.

I have the Kumho 712 tires and I like them. For the price you won't find a better tire (except maybe the Falken's, which I haven't tried). In the rain the Kumhos are superb - you can drive with confidence. The tire gets better and better after the first few thousand miles...

Only negative about the tire is the softish sidewall. I am still experimenting with pressures, but am currently running 38/37 front-rear. The higher pressures certainly help the tire squel and imprves grip.

A lot of people here are going with the Falken Azenis tires, they wouldn't be any good in the snow though. The new potenza S-03's from what i have heard are pretty decent, don't know how they would go in the snow. I don't really know of any decent all season tires. you may want to try the Dunlop SP series- i think they are all season. Don't get the Kuhmos- they have a very soft sidewall. You may just want to get a cheap set of steel rims with snow tires mounted on them.

I have also heard that the sidewall is very soft...I do have the Azenis, but I don't think that I would recommend them for snow use either...

why don't you buy snow tires or at worst all season tires for your stock wheels and just wait for the sw388's to get a nice set of high performance tires...
