Default skunk2 intake manifold

when i have my manifold installed i know i need they typer bracket but do i also need the throttle cable??

it is not necessery to get the type r throttle cable or bracket it just looks cleaner when its installed i just used my gsr throttle cable and bracket

strut bar gets in the way of the throttle cable bracket on the gsr.

he's right, its not necessery, but if your going to use the type-r bracket, you also need the throttle cable.

It is worth it to just spend the little money to get the braket and cable, makes the install look much cleaner.

does not the bracket just touches it i have it done on my car and if it wasnt covered in a foot of snow i would take a pic

Engine flex. not good. it's in the way.

right. when i first installed my manifold i used the gsr throttle cable and bracket. then i realized it was hitting my strut bar, i notched it out about 1/4 inch and it was fine. but now that ive changed to to the type r bracket, looks so much nicer.






heres where i had to notch it out so the old bracket wouldnt hit the strut bar.

i guess i m goin to get it b/c for some odd reason my car did not come with the strut bar i m thinking that they guy i bought it from just sold everything off of it
do you guys know what other strut bar i could get that it will not hit??
or should i just get the oem type r one?

Can you use your stock TB with the Skunk IM? some people said you do and others said you don't if it is using the ITP cable and bracket.
