Jdm D15B Idle issues...
Well Ive been suffering the infamous surging idle issue (up and down from 1000-1500 rpm) Im running the jdm auto p08 ecu in my manual car idk if this matters. I replaced the IACV the Fast idle control valve and the pcv valve. Still does it. Ive checked for vaccum leaks cant seem to find any. It will surge for about 5 minutes straight just sitting there then will idle fine but if you hit the gas pedal it will start surging again. IDK what to do should I play with the throttle screw on the throttle body? oh yeah some times if i hold down the brakes hard it stops but not all the time
any help would be appreciated
Thanks
John

auto ECU in 5spd causes that idle spike, trying to compensate. your option is to convert that ecu to 5spd or chip it to avoid it.
if you want quick fix for DIY guy, get a soldering iron, open the rear ECU cover and remove RP17. (tiny SOP resistor)

great, enjoy...indeed leave the rp18 there, the way it is. since you have no access to smaller resistor (as in resistance value) and size and it simply does nothing.
