As Project SSAP1 suggests, I've got a Mugen pressure plate modified by SPEC and a SPEC Star Stage II carbon kevlar disc. It works so well that the first thing top drivers asks after having driven my car at the track is "what clutch have you got in that?".

After 40,000 miles and many track days, I just swapped in a new one but the old one looked so good that I'm keeping it as a spare.

There are a large number of us running the ACT pressure plate with factory disc.
The suggestion of a light weight flywheel is a good one. Toda, Comptech, ect are all good at removing weight. I ended up with the Comptech and am very satisfied.

I recommend the ACT and CenterForce. I sell the ACT for $540 and I'm doing a GB on S2ki for the Comptech Flywheel for $310. My site is Tech2motorsports.com
