Default h&r sport springs

hey guys whats up. this is a happiness post lol. i just put in my h&r sports and i must say they are ****** awesome! i couldnt ask for more. they handle 10x better than stock, understeer has been reduced alot, and the drop is perfect. i have no noticable camber either. its a mild drop, but its perfect since my car is my only car and the roads by me suck. i have a 2 finger fender gap which is perfect to me. the car feels very stable with almost no body roll and bump feel very solid as well. all this on stock struts too! id think my es bushings help this alot but im lovin these springs. im so happy i wanted to post about and share my good day. o and for the tech part of the post, you may need a friend to push the fronts down to get the top hats on. this is for stock struts as far as i kno only.

i too just put H/R sports on my 98' coupe. I love them as well. My ride dropped 1.75 front and 1.5 back...just perfect to me. I have about that 1 finger spacing in the fender which i do like also. I too am quite pleased. Handling increased a great amount and the ride isnt that much bumpier (is that a work) lol. Anyway, good choice my friend. Dont spend 1000's on a full suspension kit when sport springs (H/R) for around $150 bucks work wonders!

PEACE

I recently swapped from eibach pro-kits to h&r sports and I love the setup. I'm using a set of koni yellows. The front was too low for me and I raised it up a notch using the konis. Great spring. I've been real happy with them.

I too have H&R sports on my SI. About a finger gap in the fender wells. Handles great. I love them a lot but I have never had anything else to compare them to. I have stock struts but looking to go something better soon. Just not sure what.

I too have H&R sports springs on AGX shocks. I also have Tein S-tech spring. Out of the 2 I like the Tein drop better but the H&R handle alot better on the freeway. I can prolly take a high speed turn about 5-10 mph faster than with Teins.

well twisted, im comparing them to an ep3 with tein basics, and my frinds teg w/ pro kits and agxs. and honestly, i like the sports better than the pro kit, and i feel what the teins have in handling and a adjustibility, my setup makes up for it with the daily drivability the teins sort of come up short in. yea id recommend an adjustable strut like an agx or a koni yellow if you have the money. either way it should be sweet.

I run H&R race w/ Blown OEM struts. And Its nice. I could put H&rs on **** and it would shine. honestly my setup rides better than my friends Weapon R coiloveers and brand new struts.

i originally had the tokico suspension kit that included struts, and 1.5 drop springs. while it handles ok, it looked so close to stock ride height, i had to do something. i hit up king motorsports, and bought the race springs. its the height i was going after, and corners even better than before. now its really screaming for complete car bushings, and a comptech rear sway bar. if you wanna see pics click on the link below

huggy bear, your car really looks nice. i would only suggest getting some red/clears for the tails. but it's your car and good luck with the future mods.

thanks for the compliments, i have a silver and black theme going here and the black housing tails will remain. some view this as a bit ricey, and i kinda agree. i get a lot of people comming up to me asking where they can get black housing tails. i tell them they are custom, and no one sells them. some mistake them for carbon fiber until they get close up. they also go with my black housing head lights too.

i understand that theme cuz i have a vsm civic also. but, why dont u just smoke out the red/clear tails and that would match your civic pretty good. don't smoke them too dark or ghetto, and that should suit your car nicely.
