i just came back from getting a free oil change at acura and then my maint reqd light started going on everytime i start my car. this sucks. im going to take it back to the dealship this week. has this happened to anyone before?

 

is it blinking..its almost time for a scheduled maintenence.

Jus Curious... does anyone refer to thier owners manuals anymore? it pretty much explains it, and how to reset it

 

This is just a reminder, i'm guessing you had your maintenance done just before it was scheduled? The Maint Req light is like a clock, has nothing to do with actual performance or problmes. Turn it off yourself, there's a small button (blue) located under your dashboard, facing your toes. Yoshi did a great drawing of this, do a search. Or, lie on yer back, look up, and see the button. Press it for a few seconds till the light goes out, voila, reset.
