Default d16?? d15?? oil pan questions

okay i am going turbo wit my d16 and wsa looking for a oil pan to tap just in case i screw up i got another right there, i was wondering if the d16 and d15 oil pans are the same or even the d16y8 are the same i saw a thread about it earlier but couldn't fiun it again tried searching but nothing, get back to me asap

i imagine that all the d16 blocks/oil pans are the same... also, just FYI--- the y7 oil pan is baffled, while the y8 is not.

They are also made of aluminum and baffled.

the d15 and d16 oil pans are NOT the same...believe me.. i've tried it. I tried putting a VX (d15) oil pan on my d16z6 engine..and it didn't fit..the baffle didn't even fit either...

BTW: i need a d16 oil pan!!!!!

just get the pan for your motor and it will be all good....
