Shipping insurance? Any guarantee from the person/company you purchased from? I would not want to compromise any important part like my brake pads!

Is he on HT? Show him these pictures, and see what he'll do for you... if he doesn't do anything, then call him out.

Looks like UPS got Superbowl fever w/your pads..

Let us know who the vendor is, and get yourself a refund/or new pads..

yeah that sucks that you didn't get what you were expecting. Sucks even more that you didn't even get them on time. i say you return it and in the mean time learn to use the hand brake as a helper haha

Consider you have identifiable pics posted now, so if you have to use them while you are waiting on replacements, that shouldn't be a problem to most vendors.

Use them.
Don't buy pads from the same person next time.

They will work, but I woudln't use them. They way I look at it is you paid for new ones so you should recieve new ones.

What brand pad are they? and who did you get them from?

This is the right route. If you can't get reimbursed then just use them and buy elsewhere. One of the site sponsors is a great place to get pads, like Andy at http://www.cobaltfriction.com/
