Brake pads: Can I still use them?

yeah that sucks that you didn't get what you were expecting. Sucks even more that you didn't even get them on time. i say you return it and in the mean time learn to use the hand brake as a helper haha

They will work, but I woudln't use them. They way I look at it is you paid for new ones so you should recieve new ones.
What brand pad are they? and who did you get them from?

This is the right route. If you can't get reimbursed then just use them and buy elsewhere. One of the site sponsors is a great place to get pads, like Andy at http://www.cobaltfriction.com/
