Default type-r exhaust on a civic

i was wondering if a stock integra type r muffler will bolt up to a 97' civic ex 4dr's stock muffler location. I want to put in custom 21/4" cat-back piping but i don't want a shitty universal and i don't what the noise and attention from a aftermarket system. Any input will be great appreaciated.

ps. no i don't have a civic with a b16. That was a dream that went bye bye along time ago

no, and even if it did, it would not help you any power wise.

It may fit. I've seen it done on the 99-00 Si.

It's been done on the 99-00 Si. The only problem is you have to cut off the pipe after the muffler and weld in an entension so the tip will not be hidden way under the car... If I remember correctly.

You can make it fit.....Just bring it to a muffler shop.It will give you a little power, nothing like a DC or anything. But it's clean looking.I'm not saying the DC sports is ugly,I just saying there is a lot of junk universal mufflers out there....I like the dc sports stuff.

it fits. take the muffler to a midas or something. they'll have to a bit of modification, nothing major. I gave my bro my axle back part.
